Alien Oracle

Communicate with the Universe

A board, a planchette, and a set of glyphs translated from markings recovered in 1947. Ask a question. Watch what decodes.

Roswell · New Mexico · 1947

In July of 1947, debris recovered from a ranch outside Roswell carried markings unlike anything in the alphabets known to science. The markings passed quietly through three generations of the Marcel family — first Major Jesse Marcel, the intelligence officer first on the site; then his son, the doctor who studied the symbols his whole life; and now his grandson, who has spent decades translating them into the system we call Roslien.

Alien Oracle is the first place these glyphs have been put to use. The board is not a séance. The planchette is not magic. What you hold is closer to a radio — an instrument tuned to a signal we cannot yet name.

How a Question Is Received

You ask a question. The planchette begins to drift. As it crosses the glyphs, the app reads its path and decodes the transmission you've received.

Some answers arrive immediately. Others come back slowly, fragment by fragment, the way a signal does when it has traveled a long distance.

In Private Testing

Alien Oracle is currently in closed beta on iOS. A public release will follow.

Privacy Policy

Last updated · June 2026

Alien Oracle is published by Exoarcade LLC. We have designed this app to collect as little information about you as possible. This policy describes — accurately and in plain language — what happens to information when you use Alien Oracle.

Scope

This policy applies to the Alien Oracle iOS application as distributed by Exoarcade LLC. It does not cover Apple's distribution of the app through the App Store or TestFlight, which is governed by Apple's own privacy practices.

What We Collect

Nothing that leaves your device. The current version of Alien Oracle operates entirely on your device. It contains no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no third-party tracking, and no telemetry. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you.

Microphone Use

Alien Oracle requests access to your device's microphone for one purpose: to listen for the question you ask aloud while using the board. The audio is processed entirely on your device using Apple's built-in Speech framework. The resulting transcript is used only by the app's internal logic and is discarded immediately after each session. The audio itself is never recorded, never stored, and never transmitted off the device.

If you decline microphone access, Alien Oracle continues to function — only the spoken-question feature is unavailable.

Information Stored on Your Device

The app stores a small amount of information on your device to remember your settings — audio, theme, and layout preferences — and local activity. This information remains on your device and is not synced to any server. Deleting the app removes it.

Third Parties

The current version of Alien Oracle uses no third-party services and contains no third-party SDKs.

Children

Alien Oracle is rated 13+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, and certainly not from children.

Your Rights

Because no personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted off your device, there is nothing held by us to access, export, correct, or delete. If you live in a jurisdiction with data-protection rights — such as the European Union's GDPR or California's CCPA — those rights are satisfied by the simple fact that no such data exists on our side.

Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy if our practices change. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. If a future version of Alien Oracle introduces a feature that sends data off your device — for example, an opt-in feature using a remote service — we will describe those practices clearly here before the change takes effect.
